Social and Emotional Learning
Why is Social and Emotional Learning Important?
At Mapleton, we focus a lot of our curriculum on Social and Emotional Learning. Young children's social and emotional health affects the students' overall development and can indicate future academic performance. Children who are mentally healthy have a more positive attitude towards play and learning and show greater motivation to learn. We will periodically update this page with resources for your PK student.
